Information on the Protection of Personal Data
PepsiCo, Inc., on its own behalf and on behalf of all of its entities operating in Turkey as being Frito Lay Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Pepsi-Cola Servis ve Dağıtım Ltd. Şti. and Fruko Meşrubat San. Ltd. Şti. (altogether "PepsiCo"), may process your personal information within the framework of your consent and as described below and disclose it to 3rd Persons to the extent permitted by legislation, as Data Controller as per the Law on Protection of Personal Data no. 6698 ("LPPD").
Reasons for processing personal data
The reasons why your personal data is processed are to execute agreements established between you and the company when you participate in our company's campaigns or any other purposes, to comply with information storage, reporting and informing obligations set forth by the authorities, to provide our products/services requested by you, to know the customers within the framework of information you consent to be processed, to increase the communication and service quality, to ensure accurate product availability, to maintain the commercial relation and to send electronic mail to you if you give consent to do so.
To whom and for what purposes your personal data may be transferred
Your personal data may be transferred to the persons and corporations permitted by the legislation provisions, program partner entities and other 3rd Persons that we receive service and cooperate to carry out our activities in order to increase the service quality, ensure accurate product availability and maintain the commercial relationship.
Methods of collecting personal data
Personal data can be collected verbally, in writing or electronically through channels such as call center and short messages you send to Head Office, the website, company or its affiliates.
Your Rights Under Article 11 of the LPPD;
As of 07.10.2016, by applying to our company in writing, you can exercise the following rights for your personal data;
a) to find out whether such data has been processed or not,
b) to request information if such data has been processed,
c) to find out the reason for processing of such data and whether such data has been used properly for that purpose,
d) to learn about the 3rd persons to whom such data has been transferred in Turkey / abroad,
e) to request for rectification of such data if it is processed incompletely or inaccurately,
f) to request for deletion/destruction or anonymization of such data within the framework of the terms prescribed in Article 7 of the LPPD,
g) to require notification of the transactions performed according to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to the 3rd parties to whom the personal data has been transmitted,
h) to object to occurrence of a result which is to your detriment due to analysis of such data only through automatic systems,
i) to demand compensation of your loss if you incur a loss due to illegal processing of such data.
